Washington Duke Inn

The Washington Duke Inn is an elegantly appointed hotel adjacent to the Duke University campus in Durham, NC. Dana’s brochure conveys the Inn’s sophisticated Southern style to conference, leisure and golf audiences. To build market share nationally, we clarify the Inn’s location with the “DestinationDuke” theme, dispelling misperceptions of a Washington, DC location and clearly linking it to its prestigious university setting. Dana created both print and interactive “page turning” versions of this brochure.

Ultimate Escapes

Dana understands that joining a destination club is both an emotional and financial decision. This cost-effective fulfillment piece for Ultimate Escapes speaks to both the heart and the head. By balancing large-scale, evocative images with easy-to-absorb, practical details, the brochure quickly helps the target audience take the next step in the membership sales cycle.

The Premier Hotel

The Premier Hotel is the companion tower to Millennium Broadway. As part of our goal to establish a separate brand identity, Dana positions the hotel as a tranquil retreat amid the bustle of Times Square. Combining light colors and clean art—representative of the hotel’s true décor—Dana created a booklet that showcases The Premier Hotel’s luxurious accommodations and amenities. It touts a comprehensive tagline: Modern Luxury in the Heart of Times Square.

HSH Spa Brochure

This membership brochure for The Spa at the Hilton Short Hills had to do double, even triple duty. Not only did it need to provide important details about membership, it had to sell the entire “spa within a hotel” experience. Plus, it needed to be flexible enough to house an ever-changing roster of fitness classes and spa treatments. The heavy matte paper stock and gorgeous photography give the brochure the wow factor, while the layout allows for a quantity of information without overload.

Kimpton Stationery

Dana was challenged to create a new brand identity for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Research revealed that guests perceived the brand as fun, warm and stylish. Dana transformed Kimpton’s brand identity from hard edges and corporate blue to this clean, contemporary, yet friendly design featuring soft circles and rich shades of Pacific blue highlighted with burgundy red. The new tagline ”Stay true to you” speaks to the guest’s experience and expectations.
