Mark D’Amico
Mark D’Amico is a partner and media director at Dana Communications. Mark’s extensive experience in media planning for hospitality clients has led to strong relationships with the travel and hospitality media. He currently directs all of Dana’s media buys, working with the buyers to deliver the most for clients.

Mark attended Hamilton College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and art. Since then he has studied advertising and marketing at Parsons School of Design in New York and the Direct Marketers Association.


John Hawley
John Hawley recently joined Dana as director of client and industry relations. Drawing from his hospitality background, John brings extensive knowledge in selling and marketing both independent and branded hotels. His strengths include vast knowledge of group and transient hotels & resorts, strategic planning for multiple properties, new business development and building successful teams.

Prior to joining Dana, John served as the Area Director of Sales and Marketing for The National Conference Center in Lansdowne, VA. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Lynn Kaniper
As a partner and creative director at Dana, Lynn Kaniper oversees the creative group and is an integral part of running the Princeton office. She combines marketing strategies with her design talents to create outstanding advertising, e-marketing, collateral, direct mail and multimedia promotional materials. Orchestrating complex photo shoots to highlight her clients’ products to their best advantage is just one of Lynn’s many artistic capabilities. She has produced award-winning work for many of her clients.


Thos Paine
Thomas (Thos) Paine is a partner and the CEO of Dana Communications. Thos came to Dana in 1983 as a refugee from New York City’s advertising community. He started his career in the network news department at ABC Network, followed by 8 years at J. Walter Thompson. He served as a media planner, TV programming executive and account executive on accounts like Lever Brothers, Kraft, Rolex and Kodak Film.

Thos has spent much of the past few years working with travel and hospitality clients, including international hotel chains and start-up airlines. Thos’ work includes marketing planning and web/Internet strategy and account direction.

Robert Prewitt
Bob Prewitt is a partner and President of Dana Communications. He leads the firm’s hospitality marketing practice and has structured effective marketing and sales strategies for hundreds of hotels, resorts, golf clubs and conference centers across the country.

In 2005, Bob received the Mel Hosansky Award for Distinguished Service from the International Association of Conference Centers, for whom he is a marketing advisor. He also advises the Convention Industry Council and the Society of Wine Educators, and his work has received numerous awards from HSMAI.

Bob received a B.A. from DePauw University and an M.A. in public policy management from Stanford. His marketing career began in the wine industry, where he served as a public relations account executive, writer and wine educator.


Tracy Stottler
Tracy Stottler is executive director of Dana’s southeast service office and serves as account supervisor for a number of clients. Tracy’s primary role is to structure targeted marketing and communications strategies that lead to successful creative and media solutions. She manages client relationships and oversees multiple account teams who execute tactical campaign tasks. Tracy specializes in direct mail and e-marketing strategies, identifying resources, procuring targeted lists and ensuring cost-effective mailing techniques.

A graduate of The College of New Jersey with a degree in communications and journalism, Tracy started her career as an associate communications specialist with IBM. There, she developed corporate communications, wrote a weekly employee newsletter and organized on-site events before bringing her talents to Dana.

Mary Vish
As financial manager, Mary Vish oversees accounts payable and receivable, manages operating accounts, reconciles general ledger accounts and maintains financial records. In addition, she handles all payroll data control and distribution.

Before joining Dana, Mary spent 16 years in the accounting and purchasing departments of two large corporations in central New Jersey.


Eric Welsh
As Interactive Director, Eric Welsh provides consultation to Dana’s clients, forming tactical plans and sharing his vision for interactive programs. He is responsible for helping to identify and understand brand barriers as well as optimize online communications. He partners with the creative team to determine the most valuable deliverables for clients and serves as a key resource on current innovations.

Eric boasts a diverse background in several industries. His experience includes employment at a fortune-500 energy company, where he consulted on cross-platform interactive branding initiatives and established an online university for employees. He also worked at a pharmaceutical company to establish a stronger online presence, and he served as lead interactive developer for the University Relations Department at Rutgers University. Eric enjoys painting, volunteering his time as a Big Brother, traveling and dining out at abstract eateries. His interest in culinary arts, concerts and luxury hospitality enable him to bring a personal touch to his valuable interactive expertise at Dana.

Jared Zech
As Executive Director of Dana’s New York office, Jared oversees the New York staff and manages many of the clients based in the region. His strong strategic planning acumen coupled with a keen sense of how best to tactically approach implementation has helped his clients to continually achieve their marketing goals. A focus on results and accountability helps drive these programs. In addition, Jared’s service-oriented approach to the client/agency relationship makes partnering with Dana an enjoyable experience. His clients range from resorts such as Callaway Gardens; to urban hotels like Swissôtel, The Americas; to landmarks such as Grand Central Terminal.

Jared is dedicated to furthering his marketing and industry knowledge. In addition to his B.S.B.A. in marketing from Shippensburg University, he continues to attend programs at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. He also frequents industry tradeshows and workshops such as ITME, NBTA and more.
